The Hof Hasharon Dairy Farm, which is jointly
owned by Kibbutz Shefayim, Kibbutz Gaash and Kibbutz Yakum,
was established in 2003. It covers an area of
35 acres and is considered one of the most advanced dairy
in Israel. Considerable resources have been invested in
its construction and today the farm includes spacious
and high quality cowsheds, a computerized milking center
and advanced systems to ensure environmental
quality is safeguarded.
* Hof Hasharon Dairy Farm is comprised of 820 milking
cows and 600 calves.
* The average annual milk yield of each cow is estimated
at 12,000 liters.
* The annual milk ceiling of the farm is estimated at
nine and a half million liters.
